Want to choose the dress that will fit your shape perfectly?

No problem! First you will need to know what "shape" your body is.
The quickest way to do find this out is to take your bust, waist and hip measurements, and enter them on a wonderful shape calculator tool provided by ShopYourShape.com

Hourglass/Top Hourglass Shape

Because hourglass ladies have defined waists, look at bridal gowns that draws attention to your waist. A stylish sweetheart neckline will show off your bust nicely. If you want to make a dramatic entrance, go for a mermaid or trumpet style dress. If you want to play it safer then look at the popular A-line dresses.
Avoid ball gowns or empire-waist dresses.

Pear/Spoon Shape

Quite like the hourglass, but with fuller hips and thighs our "Pear and Spoon" ladies look their best with wide necklines and full skirts. An off-the-shoulder bolero or straps help to create balance with your shape. You will look great in an A-line dress, and a halter or v-neck will suit you perfectly. Empire-waist dresses look fantastic, basque styled waists will help to define your shape, and you will look stunning in a ball gown.
Avoid mermaid or trumpet dresses.

Straight Shape

Our straight shaped ladies look for ways to lengthen their upper torso. A drop waist skirt will add balance along with a neckline that sits beneath the collarbone. You will look amazing in a slender and elegant dress, and an empire waist will look fantastic on you, alternatively go for an A-line.
Avoid pleats on the waist, princess line and basques that draw too much attention to your waist.

Inverted Triangle Shape

The best way to create a balance in your shape is to look at dresses with a full skirt. A nice A-line dress or ball gown will really work your hips and flatter your figure. Look for a neckline with thick straps that will elongate your body like a v neck. A wedding belt or horizontal pleats along the waist will really define your shape. You could also look at dresses with a drop waist and full or ruffle skirt flaring out below the hip.
Avoid off the shoulder straps, spaghetti straps and sheath style dresses.

Oval/Diamond Shape

Oval ladies look great in A-line dresses with a wedding belt or basque styled waistline. You will look great with off-the-shoulder straps or an off-the-shoulder bolero, remember to choose cuts and embellishments that will add volume to your top half. Don't forget to balance your top and bottom halves, if you add volume to your top remember to compensate and add a full skirt.
Avoid straight or clingy dresses.
